A view of the historic Moore Building in the Miami Design District - The stage of our show!

The interior was a dramatic and stunning setting for equally stunning work.

A completely custom Laser-Etched mosaic panel piece I created for the show. The intricate typographic details spell "BRAVE" laser-etched from birch wood.

Set-Up at our SOHO Show which opened at Openhouse Gallery - This space was soon packed with hundreds of revelers ready for a show!

When DIESEL and The KDU collaborate on an art exhibition you can expect a real "Show of Force". To celebrate the launch of their latest fragrance 'Only The Brave' Diesel asked us to create works which reflected Bravery. We collected works from KDU members the world over. More than 30 members participated, representing over 15 countries. The aesthetic force of The KDU converged to create a visual experience of epic proportions.

The NEW YORK show opened in SOHO's Openhouse Gallery to a capacity crowd. The show then hit the road for a debut in Miami's historic MOORE Building in the Design District. The classical space, replete with a permanent architectural installation by renowned architect Zaha Hadid, created the perfect backdrop to the amazing body of work. We put our blood, sweat and tears into this show. My sincere thanks to all the members who participated in this showing. There's just too many for me to name so I won't even try. Thanks to all of you - y'all know who you are! The overwhelming response we've received has been humbling.

I personally created many works specifically for this show, I'll be sure to display them here in better detail in the near future. Miami, Florida: Brave Miami Nights.

The nights in Miami begin with a nonchalance befitting a bons vivant taking holiday in just such an equatorial climate. The sweltering days give way to the warm embrace of an evening which beckons that one make the best of the coolness afforded by the 11 hours from dusk til' dawn. And so it begins... innocently enough. One may kickoff the evening hobnobbing (*pause) with socialites and moguls alike who've just driven 3000 miles cross-country at the rambunctious closing ceremony to the Gumball 3000 hosted by friends Alexis Mincolla and Sam Baum of Overthrow.

The night may progress to clubs of epic proportions like LIV... or one may go for a spot that reminds you of a New York home; you'd do well to drop by Bella Rose for your LES Fix. Amidst the Gallery openings ( such as the one I attended at my comrade Mills Moran's lauded OH WOW gallery ) pre-parties, parties and after parties, it's a wonder how anything ever gets done in MIAMI. Rest assured though - there's Real Work happening down in the MIA - just look to cats like Culture Kings' Chris Oh who runs things whilst always staying cool, calm and collected. Miami nights might just have more to offer than the days - the city, bathed in neon, can only really be seen as it should during the evening hours.
